The anticipation leading up to Praxis 10 was palpable, and the event itself left a profound impact on all who attended. With more than 600 participants, it was a colossal affair that needed impeccable organization something that the coordinating team, led by Amith Prabhu, executed brilliantly. From minute details to the broader strokes, Praxis was a testament to effective event management.
First and foremost, the
impeccable time management and punctuality throughout the event deserve
commendation. Every session ran on time, thanks to meticulous planning. As a
student aspiring to make a mark in Public Relations, I recognized the
importance of these skills. Learning how to manage time effectively is a
crucial lesson that will undoubtedly shape my future endeavors. The event's
precision underscored the significance of punctuality, a trait that resonates
with PR professionals.
Another highlight was the networking opportunities Praxis presented. With numerous industry luminaries in attendance, it provided an ideal platform to hone our networking skills and engage in meaningful conversations. Connecting with CEOs, vice presidents, managers, and senior managers allowed us to introduce ourselves to influential figures in the field. The inclusion of local talents and chat sessions further enriched the experience, ensuring that the event remained concise, engaging, and interactive.
However, no event is without its challenges. Some delegates experienced connectivity issues, emphasizing the need for reliable internet access throughout the event. Seamless internet connectivity is crucial for staying updated with social media and work-related activities, and addressing this issue should be a priority for future events.
Another concern raised by
delegates was the registration process. Some preferred a mobile-based
registration system to minimize inaccuracies in data entry. Ensuring that
attendees' names and affiliations are recorded accurately is essential for a
seamless experience.
Lastly, the management of food
services faced some hiccups. Participants noted that arrangements for plate
disposal could have been more efficient. Given the scale of the event,
enhancing this aspect of management would greatly improve the overall experience
for attendees.
Praxis 10 was a grand event that provided invaluable insights and networking opportunities. While it excelled in many aspects, there is always room for improvement. Addressing connectivity issues, streamlining registration, and fine-tuning food service management would contribute to an even more exceptional experience in the future. As we reflect on this event, we look forward to witnessing how Praxis evolves and continues to shape the future of Public Relations.
